If 2018 is not a strong Democratic year – well, we are looking at more of what we have now.
If you are like me – then you cannot take another day of this.
They tried to destroy the campaign of Ilhan Omar when she first came on the scene. And now they are trying to provide their guilt by association tar and feather machine to Gov. Dayton and Al Franken.
The US has done better, but Trump is beginning to break it all down. He has given a pathway for some of our deepest discriminatory ideas and feelings to surface openly.
This session should have been a chance for a lot of DFL priorities to get a full hearing….and in the end, most of them did. But the petty shenanigans that seem to abound in the Majority Leader’s office nearly derailed a good session.
I have the feeling that on May 22nd, we will still be here. But just in case, feel free to contact me and leave your money…..
